10 foot Fly Rods
Ten foot fly rods are primarily a boat rod where control of line is paramount. Competition anglers nearly all use 10' #6 rods. They offer a huge advantage when casting long lines and shooting heavy sinking lines into the next postcode.
Specialist Nymph fishers also use 10' rods, but much lighter in weight - such as #2 - #4
